***July 1, 2008*** According to Sheriff Mark A. Podoll and the The Green Lake Sanitary District, Big Green Lake is OPEN to boating and SAFE for swimming.  Use caution as visible and submerged debris, washouts, strong currents, and other unsafe conditions may still exist.
