I agree to provide the Green Lake Area Chamber of Commerce with a Certificate of Insurance, and will follow all rules and regulations provided by the organizers to insure a safe and fun-filled event for all.

PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS YEAR=S "4^th OF JULY PARADE@ . WE ARE PLEASED TO HAVE YOU PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT AND RESPECTFULLY ASK YOUR COOPERATION IN FOLLOWING A FEW SIMPLE GUIDELINES. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, PLEASE CONTACT: THE GREEN LAKE AREA CHAMBER AT (920)-294-3231.

ALL PARADE PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER WITH THE PARADE COMMITTEE AT THE SOUTH STREET ENTRANCE TO THE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS. HERE YOU WILL OBTAIN YOUR REGISTRATION NUMBER AND PARADE ASSIGNMENT. PLEASE BE PROMPT AND AS ORDERLY AS POSSIBLE.

PLEASE REGISTER BY 4 P.M. THE PARADE WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 5 P.M.

DRIVERS...PLEASE KEEP AT LEAST 2 CAR LENGTHS BEHIND THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF YOU & BE ATTENTIVE TO SUDDEN STOPS IN THE PARADE.

1.  NO CANDY MAY BE THROWN FROM ANY VEHICLE! THIS ENCOURAGES CHILDREN TO RUN INTO THE ROADWAY IN FRONT OF OTHER DRIVERS. IF YOU WISH TO GIVE OUT TREATS, PLEASE HAVE A SPOTTER WALKING BESIDE YOUR VEHICLE AND HAND THINGS TO PEOPLE AT THE CURBSIDE. LET'S HAVE FUN RESPONSIBLY! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!.
ENTRIES VIOLATING THIS RULE WILL BE IMMEDIATELY PULLED FROM THE LINE-UP.

2.  YOU MUST FINISH THE PARADE ROUTE, WHICH WILL END AT GREEN LAKE PUBLIC SCHOOLS! NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE PARADE ROUTE EARLY. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TURN AROUND ON BUSINESS HWY 23, AS THERE IS TOO MUCH TRAFFIC CONGESTION IN THIS AREA. ONCE YOU REACH THE HIGH SCHOOL, YOU MAY EXIT BY TURNING EITHER EAST OR WEST ON NORTH STREET TO HWY 23.
