**HWY 23 East is detoured from Hwy51/39 to Montello.  The detour takes you north to HWY21 east to HWY 22 south back to Montello.  This detour loop is approximatly 40 miles.  Please adjust your travel time to Green Lake or refer to your map for an alternate route.  There are some smaller roads available that the state could not use for the detour, but you can travel safely with your car.  Check out "D" out of Packwaukee(just south of Hwy23) to "C" to Montello.  Safe Travels!
