Wisconsin Department of Tourism Winter sports enthusiasts looking for snow can call the Wisconsin Department of Tourism's 24-hour, live-operated Snow Conditions Hot Line, 1-800-432-TRIP/8747, for up-to-date reports about skiing and snowmobiling conditions throughout the state. This is also the number to call to receive the free Wisconsin Snowmobile Guide and the Wisconsin Winter Event & Recreation Guide - full-color publications that showcase the state's winter recreational opportunities. Updated snow conditions are posted each Wednesday on the state's Web site (travelwisconsin.com) and will be updated on a daily basis if necessary.
Because conditions can change rapidly, skiers and snowmobilers are encouraged to call ahead before traveling to take part in outdoor sporting activities. This report includes only those downhill ski sites and counties that reported local conditions on Wednesday. Portions of this report have been provided by Snow Reporting PLUS™. www.travelwisconsin.com |
